Vishnu Govind is an acclaimed Indian re-recording mixer, sound designer, and sound editor who has worked on more than 150 films across multiple Indian languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. Originally from Thiruvalla, Kerala, he completed his degree in Physics from St. Berchmans College, Changanassery, before pursuing specialized studies in sound engineering and sound recording at the Film and Television Institute of Tamil Nadu (FTIT) in Chennai.
Govind began his career as an ADR recordist at AVM Studios in Chennai and made his debut as a full sound designer with the Tamil film Pizza (2012). He later co-founded the audio studio Sound Factor with his collaborator Sree Sankar, pioneering advanced sound formats in cinema and contributing to a rich variety of projects.
