Dr. Jassie Gift is a celebrated Indian music director, singer, and composer, widely known for his impactful contributions to Malayalam cinema and South Indian film music. He rose to prominence in the early 2000s with his trendsetting soundtrack, which introduced a fresh, contemporary sound and marked him as a distinctive musical voice in the industry. While he is a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, he is also an academic. He holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from University College, Thiruvananthapuram. In 2019, he was awarded a Ph.D. in Indian Philosophy from Kannur University for his thesis titled "The Philosophy of Harmony and Bliss with Reference to Advaita and Buddhism."
